Kathryn Schultz (pictured) has joined Swaab in its property and commercial practice.

She has come across from LexisNexis Pacific, where she served as a senior legal writer (M&A). Prior to this, she was a general associate at global law firm Baker McKenzie.

The news follows the firm’s appointment of two new senior associates, an associate, and a solicitor in mid-July, as well as its promotion of five lawyers in the same month, including two to special counsel, one to senior associate, and two to associate.

Speaking about the appointment, Swaab managing partner Mary Digiglio said: “Our firm continues to grow in line with our strategic plan, and with Kathryn’s extensive experience and broad range of expertise in commercial transactions, business and share sales, internal reorganisations and integrations, and diverse regulatory it makes her an ideal fit for Swaab and for this newly created role.

“Kathryn’s appointment ensures we stay ahead in meeting our clients’ needs, delivering unparalleled value for money and quality of service, with our hallmark generosity of spirit and dedication to the Swaab brand of service.”
