Sydney-based firm Swaab has hired two new special counsel, a senior associate and an associate in the last two months, as it moves to grow key practice areas.
In the past two months, SME firm Swaab has made four key appointments, at a time when the firm is “undergoing a high level of growth” in certain practice areas.
In April, it added senior associate Emma Nichelsen from Coleman Greig for its family law team and associate Chloe Howard from ClarkeKann Lawyers for its property planning and projects team.
And this month, Swaab has hired special counsel Rosemary Tedesco, also in property, planning and projects, from BigLaw firm Johnson Winter Slattery.
Speaking about the appointments, Swaab managing partner Mary Digiglio said that the senior hires “come at a significant time in the firm’s continued growth journey”.
“Their impressive expertise and experience enable us to remain ahead of the curve in serving our client’s needs,” she said.
“Ensuring we can deliver unrivalled value for money and quality of service with our hallmark of generosity of spirit and commitment to living the Swaab brand of service.”
