Swaab has appointed Matthew Cole as a partner, effective immediately.

Mr Cole joins Swaab from Hones Lawyers, where he was a special counsel. Prior to this, he worked at MinterEllison as a senior associate.

Throughout his career, Mr Cole has specialised in all aspects of planning and environmental law. His clients include leading ASX-listed companies, small to medium developers, government agencies and politicians.

Swaab managing partner Mary Digiglio welcomed Mr Cole to the firm, noting his experience will be of significant value.

“This senior appointment comes at a strategic time in the firm’s continued growth journey, particularly in the property, planning and projects sector,” Ms Digiglio said.

Matthew’s impressive expertise and experience enables Swaab to remain ahead of the curve in serving our client’s needs. While at the same time augmenting our domestic and international legal service offering with experts that fit culturally and share our same client service values.

Ensuring we can deliver unrivalled value for money and quality of service with our hallmark of Generosity of Spirit and commitment to living the Swaab Brand of Service.”
