Real estate partner switches global firms
An international firm has appointed former Norton Rose Fulbright partner Arthur Chong to its Melbourne office.

Mr Chong joined DLA Piper this month after 16 years at NRF.
He has previously advised south-east Asian clients, including inbound property investors and developers into Australia, as well as major Australian and Asian corporations seeking to invest in the Asia-Pacific region and the UK market.
DLA Piper managing partner in Australia, John Weber, said Mr Chong’s expertise was “ a perfect fit” for the firm.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Chong said: "DLA Piper's totally integrated real estate practice across Australia, Asia, Europe and the US will bring significant value and expertise to many of our global real estate clients."
NRF lost a partner to Maddocks in December last year but also recently recruited two senior lawyers to its Brisbane and Sydney offices.
