Travis Schultz & Partners opens new Gold Coast office
Travis Schultz & Partners is set to expand in Queensland, opening a new office in Southport, on the Gold Coast.
With offices in Brisbane, Mooloolaba, and Cairns, Travis Schultz and Partners is now set to establish their fourth office in Queensland, at Southport. This is the firm’s first Gold Coast location.
The new Southport office will cover all areas of compensation law, including workers’ compensation, public liability, and motor vehicle compulsory third-party claims.
Travis Schultz, managing partner of Travis Schultz & Partners, said that the decision was spurred on by growing interest in the firm’s capabilities, paired with the increasing demand for specialised compensation law in the area.
“The expanding construction sector, along with the Gold Coast’s rising population, has inevitably led to more workplace and road accidents. Alongside the complexity of insurance schemes, this has driven a substantial rise in demand for our expertise,” he said.
“Our decision to expand on the Gold Coast is a direct response to the current market conditions and the heightened demand for an industry leading legal expertise, offered with a fee structure significantly lower than that of corporate firms.”
Schultz said that establishing their fourth office in the state only solidified the firm’s commitment “to providing fair representation across Queensland.”
“Our growth reflects our commitment to offering a distinctive legal service that prioritises the quality of outcomes over case volume while ensuring our clients retain the majority of their settlements,” he said.
“We believe in meaningful community engagement and truly listening to our clients’ stories. Our clients value the personalised, community-focused approach we offer, and this expansion allows us to maintain that standard in a rapidly growing region.”
With the focus of the established office being to provide localised services that meet the “specific needs” of the growing community, Travis Schultz & Partners has appointed experienced legal professional Nickelle Morris, who will join Karla Macpherson in the new office.
As an accredited specialist with experience in complex personal injury claims, Morris said the move to join the team at Travis Schultz & Partners was primarily a case of “value alignment.”
“I chose to join Travis Schultz & Partners because of their proven expertise, and commitment to supporting clients throughout their recovery, which aligns with my own professional values,” said Morris.
“I am looking forward to working alongside Karla Macpherson who has already made a significant impact in our Brisbane and Gold Coast locations with her client-focused approach.”
After seven years, the firm now has 70 staff and four offices in total stretched out over Queensland.
