Kingsgate Consolidated names new GC
ASX-listed gold mining, development and exploration company Kingsgate has appointed a new general counsel and company secretary.
Stephanie Wen has been named as the new GC and company secretary for Kingsgate Consolidated (ASX: KCN).
Her expertise, it went on, includes cross-border mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and capital raising in Asian and Australian markets.
Most recently, she served as legal counsel in Australia and New Zealand for Swiss Re and was a non-executive director of Quantum Health Group Limited.
Prior to this, she was senior legal counsel at Cover-More Group and a senior associate at Macpherson Kelley in its corporate practice.
Elsewhere, Kingsgate has appointed Rob Kinnaird as its acting general manager for operations.
Speaking about the two appointments, Kingsgate executive chairman Ross Smyth-Kirk said: “These are the next steps in refreshing the management team to continue building for the future.
“We are confident that Stephanie’s and Rob’s knowledge and experience will bring valuable contributions to our organisation.
“I would also like to take the opportunity to thank Paul Mason, who has helped the company in various roles over some difficult periods, and Wayne Schiller for his efforts to get Chatree restarted and Plant #2 up and running. I wish them all the best in their future endeavours.”
