CBRE names new GC for Pacific
Multinational real estate company CBRE has appointed a new Pacific-based general counsel, who will also sit on the company’s Pacific executive committee.
Tess Lambourne (pictured) has moved to Sydney to be the group general counsel at CBRE, having relocated from the company’s Dubai office, where she spent a decade as its head of legal and compliance, as well as the director of operations for its Middle East advisory business.

Ms Lambourne began her career in law in 2007 in Melbourne. She has worked in Cambodia and Pakistan and passed the New York Bar exam in 2022.
Speaking about the appointment, CBRE chief executive of Pacific advisory services in Australia and New Zealand Phil Rowland said: “Tess has established a world-class legal and compliance program within CBRE’s Middle East Advisory business and has worked closely with teams across other regions over the course of a decade.”
“This appointment follows an extensive internal and external search, from which Tess was the standout candidate, as an accomplished lawyer and leader who knows our company well.”
Ms Lambourne added: “I’m delighted to be appointed to lead CBRE Pacific’s dynamic legal team.”
