The promotion from senior group counsel and corporate transformation director is a recognition, Investa said, of the role that Ms Chan has played in providing strategic, commercial and operational counsel across the business.
Speaking about the promotion, Investa chief executive Peter Menegazzo said that the company is “delighted” to elevate Ms Chan.
“She has excellent stakeholder management skills and works collaboratively across the business focusing on achieving commercial outcomes,” he said.
“We look forward to Lesley joining our executive committee and continuing her whole-of-business transformation work.”
Ms Chan added: “I’m really excited by the opportunity to continue to combine my legal background with my passion for strategy, operational and whole-of-business transformation and innovation.
“Investa’s commitment to develop and reward its people is evident through the internal appointment. Investa’s continued commitment to flexibility enables me to take on this senior appointment and balance my personal and professional commitments as a working parent.”
