Lindy Hunt – who has over 15 years of experience as a practising lawyer in superannuation, regulatory affairs and fund governance – has been appointed as the new head of legal, risk and compliance for JANA.

Ms Hunt was most recently the head of legal audit risk and compliance at Club Plus Super, a role she had held since 2015.

She has, JANA said in a statement, “a wealth of experience in overseeing compliance management systems, trusteeship, corporate governance and risk management”.

Speaking about the appointment, JANA chief operating officer Ashleigh Crittle said: “We are excited to welcome Lindy to head up our legal, risk and compliance function, her experience and expertise will strengthen our robust frameworks to deliver reliable and consistent results for our clients.

“Lindy also brings a passion for diversity and inclusion and will be a great addition to our culture.”

Ms Hunt joined JANA in mid-December and will report to Ms Crittle. In her new role, she will be responsible for managing the firm’s contractual relationships, governance and ongoing development and implementation of JANA’s risk and compliance frameworks.
