Rubini Ventouras, who has been the GC of Australian Capital Equity for the past three years and a board trustee for the Western Australian Museum for the past nine years, has been made a commissioner for Lotterywest.

She took up her position on 21 June 2021.

She is joined on the board of commissioners by Brianna Peake, who is the chief external relations officer for CBH Group, a role she has held since 2015.

Premier Mark McGowan acknowledged outgoing commissioners Miriam Borthwick and Elisabeth McLellan, and thanked them for their significant contribution to Lotterywest.

“I thank and acknowledge both outgoing board members for their contributions to Lotterywest; Ms Miriam Borthwick who has served on the board since 2015, and Ms Elisabeth McLellan since 2018. I’m pleased to announce the appointments of Ms Rubini Ventouras and Ms Brianna Peake to the Lotterywest Board of Commissioners,” Premier McGowan said.

“Ms Ventouras and Ms Peake are both highly experienced professionals with long records of accomplishment, and I believe they will make a valuable contribution to Lotterywest. Last financial year, Lotterywest announced record sales of $1.057 billion and has delivered the COVID-19 relief fund, which has supported the WA community over the COVID-19 period.

“The Board of Commissioners are central to Lotterywest’s success, and I sincerely thank retiring members and welcome our new commissioners to these important roles.”
