In the first session of this year’s Corporate Counsel Summit, Cliff Rosenberg and Anna Bagley will discuss forging a pathway to the top in the looming post-pandemic marketplace, with reference to the massive disruption that is going on in business today and around the world, with technology and AI rating among the top factors influencing the roles of both CLOs and GCs.

Mr Rosenberg (the former founder and managing director of LinkedIn Australia and New Zealand) and Ms Bagley (the group general manager of risk and legal at Programmed) will provide insights on how to shift your mindset and adapt to being a key contributor to the leadership team and your organisation’s overall strategy in the new normal.

Summit attendees will walk away from this session with a greater understanding of and appreciation for the importance of staying on the front foot of disruption in the face of big data, AI and the cloud, how to embrace the mentality of a business leader to become an enabler for growth, the context of social media and how to brand and represent yourself as a leader, and the challenges and risks that come from having a seat at the boardroom table.

Speaking ahead of the summit, Lawyers Weekly deputy editor Jerome Doraisamy said that it will be thrilling to hear from such learned professionals about building a new road map in this ever-changing landscape.

“We’re delighted to have Cliff and Anna presenting this session. No doubt attendees will walk away with the practical tools and building blocks necessary to create success in whatever ways make sense to a particular individual. In-house lawyers can and will benefit tremendously from tuning in to this session,” he proclaimed.
