Following the success of the inaugural Corporate Counsel Summit, Lawyers Weekly – together with principal partner LOD – is thrilled to again present this all-day event at which in-house counsel can build a roadmap to becoming a better legal professional.

This year’s agenda is jam-packed with heavy-hitting speakers from across the professional marketplace, including the former founder and managing director of LinkedIn Australia and NZ, Cliff Rosenberg, and a bevy of general counsel on topics ranging from regulation to work-life balance to risk minimisation.

Insights offered from the stage promise to be as varied as they are valuable, with those panelists and keynote speakers representing organistions including Optus, American Express Australia, Google Australia and NZ, Greenpeace Australia Pacific, Carsales.com, D2 Legal Technology, Programmed and Croesus Holdings Group.

To finish the day, The Chaser’s Julian Morrow will host a game show-style session on legal ethics, inspired by his new venture, CPD Under the Influence.

Speaking about the upcoming summit, Lawyers Weekly editor Emma Ryan said: “Never before have in-house lawyers faced such challenges when it comes to their respective roles, with organisations demanding teams to do more with less and play a more active role in its strategic direction."

“The summit’s agenda has been designed with this front of mind and is sure to leave attendees with practical tips and insight they can implement to drive a new way of working in 2020 and beyond," she said.

“We’re delighted to partner with LOD for this inspiring and thought-provoking event, and look forward to seeing in-house lawyers of all ages and level of expertise at the event.”

Six CPD points are on offer for attendees.
