Sydney-based firm Swaab has appointed a new construction partner, as well as a new associate in its commercial practice.
Swaab has hired a new partner in its construction practice, as well as added an associate to its commercial, corporate, IP and technology team.
Partner Mark Glynn joins the firm from MinterEllison, where he was a special counsel. With over two decades experience, he brings a wealth of construction and project delivery expertise and experience and has worked with clients in both the private and public sector, up and down the contracting chain, assisting them delivering projects within their acceptable levels of risk.
Additionally, Hugo Mahony has joined Swaab as an associate. Mahony joins from full service global commercial law firm Ogier in Ireland.
This news comes after the addition of a property and commercial partner in February, as well as a new associate within the same practice in September last year.
Speaking about the new appointments, managing partner Mary Digiglio said the recent additions would each drive positive outcomes for clients in their respective practice areas.
“As we continue to grow in alignment with our strategic vision, Mark’s extensive knowledge and experience in construction and project delivery makes him an invaluable addition to our team,” she said.
“As we continue to expand in line with our strategic vision, Hugo’s deep knowledge and experience in commercial, corporate, IP and technology law positions him perfectly within our team. [These appointments] strengthen our ability to meet our client needs with excellence, ensuring we maintain our hallmark dedication and Swaab Brand of Service.”
