ASX-listed firm IPH Limited has added the duties of company secretary to its existing head of legal (governance).
Tamsyn Hoff has been appointed as the new company secretary for IPH, as per a market announcement by the listed entity last week.
She is, IPH detailed in a statement, admitted as a solicitor in NSW and New Zealand and holds a bachelor of laws and bachelor of social science. She has 15 years of experience as a solicitor, gained in Australia and New Zealand, including in corporate and commercial law.
Prior to joining IPH in March of last year, Hoff worked in private legal practice in a well-regarded corporate and commercial legal firm.
The news follows IPH’s acquisition of Canadian firm Ridout & Maybee, as well as its recording of a 27 per cent increase in revenue in the latest financial year, reported in August 2023, despite a cyber breach costing the firm $2.8 million.
It also follows the listed entity’s promotion of 25 professionals, including seven to principal, in June.
IPH recognised Philip Heuzenroeder, who served as company secretary since May 2016 and resigned from the role last week.
He will continue in his role as group general counsel, the listed entity noted, and as a member of its executive leadership team.
“The board wishes to thank Mr Heuzenroeder for his contribution as company secretary over the past eight years,” IPH said.
