Deal: KWM has advised Regal Partners on its $110 million equity capital raising.

Value: $110 million

Area: Corporate

Key players: The KWM team was led by corporate merger and acquisition partner Tim Bednall, supported by Caroline Tait, Stacey Stellatos, Gemma McMahon, Jaspreet Nagra, John Grant and Matthew Del Gigante.

Deal significance: The capital raise enables the fund’s manager to build surplus capital and provide balance sheet capacity to accelerate multiple growth initiatives.

The equity capital raising consists of a one-for-five accelerated non-renounceable entitlement offer of new shares at $2.60 per share.

Commenting on the transaction, Mr Bednall said: “Congratulations to Regal on launching this significant capital raising and unlocking an exciting new phase.

“KWM was proud to advise Regal Funds Management on the successful merger with VGI Partners in June this year, and we’re delighted to now deepen our relationship assisting on this milestone transaction.”
