Colin Biggers & Paisley adds digital transformation manager
Colin Biggers & Paisley has appointed Rebecca Phillips as the new digital transformation manager to oversee technological developments across the practice.
Ms Phillips moved from Hall & Wilcox this month, where she spent four years as a legal technologist.
“I’ve stepped into this new role with excitement and anticipation to hit the ground running, with a number of large projects ahead that will see the practice thrive in the tech space and give Colin Biggers & Paisley a real competitive edge in the market.”
The team will be focusing on simplifying the process of internal and external operations for Colin Biggers & Paisley, with the development of automated workflows expected to assist in the expansion of their digital capabilities.
Ms Phillips plans to carry out the implementation of mobility apps to “streamline processes for clients” and stated she is joining the practice at a pinnacle time in its digital development.
The practice is excited to have an experienced professional to lead the implementation of the ambitions planned across their technological suite. She was an “obvious fit” for the role, according to Sam Sofianos, chief information officer.
“Rebecca comes armed with the skills we need to turn our plans into a reality. Technically, she has expertise across technology and process improvement and solution delivery, but what she also possesses is a keen understanding of the importance of building relationships and talking to clients to better understand their needs,” he said.
“Rebecca’s skills and expertise across these projects will enable our firm to stay ahead of the trends and cement our position as a leading mid-level, national law practice that focuses on technology that enables us to deliver excellence for our clients.”
