KWM partner takes to the bench
A Sydney-based partner at King & Wood Mallesons has been appointed as a judge of the Supreme Court of NSW.

Trish Henry has been appointed as a NSW Supreme Court judge, following her departure from the global law firm. During her time at KWM, Ms Henry was a senior partner within the firm’s dispute resolution team.
“We are incredibly proud to see Trish Henry appointed as a judge of the Supreme Court of NSW,” said KWM chief executive partner Berkeley Cox.
“Over her many years of exceptional contribution, Trish has not only advised clients on large scale and high-profile disputes and investigations but has also helped shaped the fabric of the firm through a number of key positions including in her role as board member, as the National Equal Employment Opportunity Partner and numerous special projects.
“Trish leaves KWM as a senior litigation partner highly regarded by clients and known internally as an exceptional lawyer, trusted colleague and caring mentor. Trish joins an eminent cohort of KWM alumni who have previously been appointed to the bench of the Supreme Court.
“We wish Trish all the very best for the future.”
Ms Henry’s appointment sees her replace Justice Robert McDougall, who will officially leave the bench on 31 January.
