Perth’s first barristers’ chambers renews lease
The Francis Burt Chambers has renewed its lease at Allendale Square, which is located within walking distance of the new Supreme Court of Western Australia.

Francis Burt Chambers, established in 1962, was the first set of barristers' chambers in Perth and has since grown to 120 members.
The deal includes an extensive refurbishment, including new lift lobbies and bathrooms, new LED lighting and new carpet, as a part of a wider renewal of the Allendale building.
The chambers will also be expanded from approximately 5,100 square metres to 6,000 square metres.
“With the redevelopment of this landmark office tower, we are not only able to contribute to the wider revitalisation of the CBD but deliver a high-quality office and retail environment that will attract and retain high-calibre tenants such as Francis Burt Chambers,” Andrew Butler, Mirvac’s group executive of office said.
“Once complete, Allendale Square will provide all of the benefits of a high-quality workspace, as well as a renewed retail and food and beverage offering within the retail plaza.”
