Another senior lawyer splits from Sparkes
A former special counsel at Sparke Helmore has joined the partnership of Brisbane firm Thynne + Macartney.

Mark Winn (pictured) has been appointed as a partner with Thynne + Macartney’s business advisory and dispute resolution group. He is joined by former Sparkes lawyer Dominique Mayo.

Prior to joining Sparkes in 2007, Mr Winn was a special counsel and head of commercial at the Brisbane office of Abbott Tout Lawyers, which was acquired by HWL Ebsworth in 2007.
Last week, Sparkes also lost lawyer Liana Westcott, a Lawyers Weekly Law Awards finalist, who joined Russell Kennedy’s Canberra office.
