Lavan Legal opens family law practice
Western Australian firm Lavan Legal has appointed a former partner at Paterson & Dowding Family Lawyers as the head of its new family law practice.

Framy Anne Browne (pictured) has experience in child-related matters, asset tracing, financial arrangements, partnerships, superannuation, companies and trusts.
Managing partner Dean Hely said, “Family law is becoming increasingly complex and having someone with Framy’s expertise and energy … is exciting for [us] and for the Western Australian business community.
“Family law is no longer a stand-alone issue and Framy will work closely with our corporate, property and tax teams to provide a seamless service for clients,” he added.
Browne said she was delighted to be appointed as a partner at Lavan Legal. “The family law practice will sit uniquely within a multi-faceted law firm,” she said.
Lavan Legal has made some prominent hires recently: Norton Rose Fulbright national head Derek La Ferla joined last week and the head of Rockwell Olivier’s workplace relations practice in Perth left to join the firm last October.
