“Phillips is committed to improving people’s quality of life ... We’re excited to see her fostering and driving continuous improvement in the sector,” said Russell Kennedy managing director Paul Gleeson.
Phillips has worked as an operator of aged care facilities, is a fellow of the Royal College of Nursing and a director of Northern Health. As a principle at Russell Kennedy, she specialises in risk management, inquiries and investigations, dispute resolution, coronial inquests, policy review and implementation.
“Research shows that quality education and care early in life leads to better health, education and employment outcomes later in life. A national program can deliver national reforms and introduce consistent standards, which is exciting to be a part of,” said Phillips.
