Tom Lennox (pictured) was with Squires for just over a year and has previously worked at DibbsBarker and King & Wood Mallesons.

K&L Gates’ Australian managing partner Nick Nichola said Lennox’s appointment was “quite significant” as the firm continues to grows its Sydney finance practice.

Lennox has experience advising clients in the aviation, shipping and real estate sectors on debt funding matters such as acquisitions, sales, leasings, development and management, and restructurings.

K&L Gates also poached energy & resources partner Robert Milbourne from Norton Rose Fulbright in September.

Earlier this year, Liz Gray crossed over to K&L Gates after 18 years with Henry Davis York.

Squire Patton Boggs recently poached a partner, along with three other lawyers, from boutique firm Allion Legal.
