Holding Redlich’s partner trifecta
Holding Redlich has raided three competitors for new partners.

Geoff Farnsworth (pictured), Danella Wilmshurst and Nathan Cecil have joined the firm’s national transport practice group.
Prior to joining Holding Redlich, Geoff Farnsworth acted as a principal at M+K Lawyers for four years. He has previously worked at Norton White, Ashurst, and King & Wood Mallesons.
Danella Wilmshurst was formerly a partner at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers and Nathan Cecil previously worked as a partner at Norton White.
Losing partners seems to be the exception to the rule this year for HWL Ebsworth. The firm lost partner Kon Tsiakis to DLA Piper in May but took Holding Redlich partner Kelly Alcorn in June, bringing its total number of lateral hires for 2014 to 24.
Nathan Cecil said Holding Redlich’s expanded transport team would work in tandem with other practice group areas, such as the workplace relations & safety group.
The three new partners, along with existing transport practice group partners Jeremy Loeliger, Suzy Cairney and Jeremy Prentice, will focus on maritime, logistics, road transport, rail and aviation and all related areas.
These appointments follow the addition of property and projects partner Ron Eames, who left Thomsons Lawyers to join Holding Redlich in January.
