Sydney firm hires one and promotes two

Kemp Strang has promoted two partners and recruited a senior associate from Gilbert + Tobin.

Yesterday (5 June) Kemp Strang announced that Matthew Pike (pictured) and Phil Kaunitz from the firm’s dispute resolution and insolvency practice have been made partner. The firm has also hired Tom Morgan from Gilbert + Tobin as a senior associate in its corporate practice.

Morgan was previously a member of Gilbert + Tobin’s corporate team, and he was an M&A lawyer at King & Wood Mallesons prior to that.

Pike and Kaunitz will start their new roles on 1 July, while Morgan started in late May.
