M&A lawyer Deanna Constable (pictured) has joined Landers’ Sydney corporate practice.

Constable was the general counsel at Mitsubishi for seven years, and a senior associate at Herbert Smith Freehills prior to that.

Constable is also the current national president of the resources and energy law association, AMPLA.

Landers recently lost property partner Lisa Gaddie, who quit the firm to join Kliger Partners in February.

The firm had, however, boosted partner numbers in 2013 with the appointment of competition and consumer protection partner Calum Henderson, commercial disputes partner Tean Kerr and property partner Julian Olley.
