HFW energises Perth practice
Holman Fenwick Willan has poached two energy partners from Lavan Legal.

Simon Adams (pictured) and Caroline Brown joined HFW’s Perth office in February.
Brown also specialises in competition and regulatory law, particularly in relation to energy & resources infrastructure. She has provided advice on issues relating to gas, electricity, rail and water regulation.
Prior to the departures of Adams and Brown, Lavan had boosted its energy & resources practice in Perth with two partner hires. Ex-King & Wood Mallesons partner Daniel Kirk joined Lavan’s corporate services practice in February. The firm also hired litigation partner James Steedman in January from boutique firm Karp Steedman Ross-Adjie, which closed its doors in December.
HFW is a global firm with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth.
