Squires appoints Perth partner in global promotion round
Perth-based energy & resources lawyer Clare Pope has been promoted to the Squire Sanders partnership along with 12 other lawyers globally.

Pope (pictured) is dual-qualified in England and Western Australia. She specialises in M&A and cross-border advisory work for the oil & gas and hard rock mining sectors.
Her recent promotion is part of a global round of promotions in which a total of 13 lawyers have been named partners or principals.
In January, Squires poached Sydney-based corporate and financial services partner Michelle Segaert from Sparke Helmore. The firm also promoted Perth lawyer Kylie Groves to partner in the Labour & Employment team.
Squires also dropped a corporate partner in Perth late last year. Amber Stanton joined K&L Gates in October.
The firm has 16 partners and 87 lawyers across the firm’s Sydney and Perth offices.
