Single-office firm Hall & Wilcox has nabbed an insolvency and dispute resolution specialist from Minter Ellison.
Natasha Toholka (pictured) will join the commercial dispute resolution team in the Melbourne firm as a special counsel.
Toholka has extensive experience in banking & finance litigation, security enforcement, insolvency and general commercial disputes. She has acted for major trading banks in all aspects of workouts and recoveries as well as for a significant number of insolvency practitioners.
Toholka holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from Monash University. She is a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA) and the International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Professionals (INSOL).
Hall & Wilcox’s managing partner Tony Macvean said Toholka’s appointment adds to the depth and quality of the firm's banking, insolvency and litigation practices.
This is not the first time this year Hall & Wilcox has nabbed a player from a larger firm; in July superannuation partner Heather Gray and her team joined the firm from DLA Piper.
