Sydney-based Regan has worked with high-profile commercial and investment banks, including all major Australian banks, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Citibank and Barclays Capital.

Regan specialises in leveraged finance and projects in the energy, infrastructure and resource sectors. He also provides advice across all aspects of project financing, leveraged financing, private equity and debt restructurings.

In his new role, Regan will support Corrs clients in both Sydney and Perth.

Corrs CEO John Denton (pictured) said the appointment reflected the firm’s strong position.

“Corrs continues to attract the market’s best to its partnership,” he said.

“With a unique international skill set, including in specialist markets such as Islamic finance, Alex adds to Corrs’ world-class capabilities.”

Prior to joining KWM (then Mallesons) in 2008, Regan was based in the London, New York and Singapore offices of Shearman & Sterling and the Hong Kong office of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker.
