Ashurst gives five chance to shine as partners
Ashurst has made five promotions to its Australian partnership to coincide with the start of the new financial year.

The new partners are: James Hall (employment) in Brisbane; Tim Klineberg and Emanuel Poulos (pictured) in the insolvency group in Sydney; and Kylie Lane (corporate) and Kellech Smith (intellectual property and copyright) in Melbourne.

Ashurst also announced that it will be promoting four lawyers to the role of special counsel and 34 to the position of senior associate.
These new appointments mean that, as of 1 July when the promotions take effect, the total partnership count at Ashurst Australia will be 190.
Ashurst, which earlier this year rubbished rumours that it was set to “cull” 50 of its partners in Australia, also recently appointed the first independent members to its Board.
