Glut of promotions at Holding Redlich
Holding Redlich has made more than 20 internal promotions, including two promotions to the partnership.

Britt and Burton are both currently special counsel at the firm and both came from positions within the construction industry before joining the firm.
Before coming to the law, Britt had worked as an engineer in the construction industry, while Burton joined Holding Redlich after practising as an in-house lawyer at Betchel Corporation in the UK.
The firm is also making two promotions to general counsel and eight to special counsel.
Lyn Nicholson will become a general counsel in the corporate & commercial area in Brisbane, while Michael Byrom will become a general counsel in the property area in the Brisbane office.
“These appointments recognise the appointees’ great experience and expertise – Michael in complex real estate matters and Lyn in corporate and commercial work, particularly privacy,” said Lovell.
The eight appointments to special counsel have been made in the Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne offices in five different practice areas: construction & infrastructure; leasing; corporate & commercial; litigation & dispute resolution, and workplace relations & safety. Lovell said: “The appointment of our new special counsel recognises that those individuals excel in their respective practice areas.”
The firm also appointed 10 new senior associates.
All promotions take effect from 1 July.
