Carroll & O'Dea Lawyers has appointed a former partner from the Darwin office of Ward Keller Lawyers to its Sydney-based workplace relations group.
Dunn, who has more than 15 years’ experience working in the area of employment law, was with Ward Keller for close to 10 years and was a partner there for six years.
While in Darwin, Dunn was retained by St John’s Ambulance to advise and represent St John on all legal issues that arose in the running of the service, including industrial and employment issues, contract matters and coronial inquests.
She has assisted individual and business clients with employment and contractor agreements, enterprise agreements, policies and procedures, disciplinary matters, legislation and termination issues. She participates in disciplinary meetings and assists both employers and individuals in preparing and responding to disciplinary matters, including warnings arising from workplace misconduct and discrimination.
Although she will be based in the Sydney office, Dunn will regularly travel to the Northern Territory to assist her clients based there.
Dunn is also currently undertaking a Master of Laws in Employment and Industrial Relations through Melbourne University.
