Gadens grows with merger completion
Following the completion of its merger with MacGillivrays’ Brisbane office, Gadens has welcomed 34 new legal staff to its office in the Queensland capital.

Green, who has close to 40 years’ experience, specialises in commercial and retail banking transactions and has lectured in mortgage lending law at both the Securities Institute of Australia and TAFE. He is also the Queensland president of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia.
Edgecombe is a commercial dispute resolution specialist with more than 30 years’ experience. His clients include professional services firms, liquidators, public and private companies and financiers. He is a trained mediator and member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia.
Kleinschmidt has more than 10 years’ experience in commercial property law, including property acquisitions, developments, commercial and retail leasing. He was the inaugural chairman of the Strata Communities Australia (Queensland) Legislative Committee and in 2011 was made a fellow of the Australian College of Community Association Lawyers.
Other lawyers who have moved to Gadens from MacGillivrays include banking special counsel Gordon Perkins, who has more than 25 years’ experience; special counsel and property and environment law specialist Allan McKenzie, and consultant Jon McGaw.
