Advent hires TMT specialist from Deutsche Bank
Law firm Advent Lawyers has hired from the Deutsche Bank to head up its technology group.

Australian and Singapore law firm Advent Lawyers has appointed international technology lawyer Graham Jefferson from the Deutsche Bank in Sydney to lead the firm's technology group.
Jefferson has worked as a senior technology lawyer for 15 years, primarily with global financial institutions, and have done local, international and cross-jurisdictional technology deals in Asia, Europe, the United States and Australia.
Before his stint with the Deutche Bank in London, Sydney and Singapore, Jefferson worked in-house with Barclays Capital in London.
Jefferson joins Advent Lawyers' technology, media and telecoms (TMT) team.
Established in 2008, Advent insures experienced lawyers with commercial experience, a model popular in the TMT space, which has long worked with flexible workforces and fixed cost pricing models.

Coppel said cross-jurisdictional transactions will become increasingly important to many clients in the financial services, telecommunication and utilities sectors.
She said Jefferson is uniquely placed to help clients take steps in utilising the fast growing LPO offerings now available in Australia and Asia.
