LAW firm HWL Ebsworth has hired two experts from Freehills’ commercial team and made them partners.
Stephen Kerr and Teresa Torcasio join the firm’s Melbourne office. Kerr was previously the head of Freehills’ commercial contracting team, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financial services, transport industry law, commercial contracting and outsourcing and procurement. While at Freehills, Kerr also offered advice in insurance law, focusing on professional indemnity, insolvency, white-collar crime and transport and logistics. Torcasio, formerly executive counsel in the Melbourne office, focuses on commercial advice to clients in retail, manufacturing, mining services and franchising.
