Piper Alderman has poached Middletons corporate lawyer Sebastian Greene and appointed him partner in the firm's Melbourne office.

Greene is a corporate lawyer with more than 20 years' experience in merger and acquisitions, reconstructions, joint ventures, due diligence investigations, corporations and ASC law and trade practices.

Piper Alderman managing partner Tony Phelps said Green's appointment will add new depth to the Melbourne office.

“[His] impressive, solid history practicing corporate and commercial law will complement not only our national corporate team, but also the Melbourne office as a whole," he said.

"It is a great testament to the excellence and growth in reputation of the Melbourne office that we continue to attract such talent.”

Greene takes with him associate, Rohan Pardasani.
