Peter Limbers has acted extensively for state and federal government on the regulatory reform of the energy sector, as well as the reform and corporatisation of government-owned businesses.
Limbers has a strong reputation as a leading specialist energy lawyer in the Australian market, Blakes said today.
He has acted for energy utilities, retailers, regulators and government in the competitive national electricity and gas markets and in the NSW energy sector.
The firm said he will now play a key role in helping drive the Blakes’ energy practice across a range of major energy infrastructure projects and in energy sector commercial and regulatory work in NSW, as well as nationally and in the Asia Pacific region.
