Formerly a partner of Baker & McKenzie’s corporate group, Williams has more than 14 years' experience in transactions in the real estate sector, particularly in the leisure, hotels and tourism industries across the Asia-Pacific region. 

He recently advised on the acquisition of the Ayers Rock Resort, consisting of five hotels (with accommodation for over 1000 guests) and an airport, for a reported value of $300 million. He also acted for the Jamal Omar Company in relation to hotel operator selections for its $US5.5 billion mixed-use project in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
