A US firm has paid a hefty price for the inappropriate behaviour of one of its partners who sparked an incident involving a distressed client and a cucumber.
According to Allgood, Eicher got himself into a pickle when, one fateful day, he entered the lift with her and asked for a "hug" after a "bad day".
Allgood innocently obliged, but quickly pulled away from the tight embrace when it seemed that Eicher either had a gun in his pocket, or was very pleased to see her.
To Allgood's disgust (but possibly relief), Eicher burst out laughing and pulled a cucumber - though there is some speculation it may have been a zucchini - from his pocket.
While the matter was settled out of court, sadly, Eicher's motive remains unclear.
Folklaw may thus never know whether Eicher was simply on his way to the kitchen to make a salad, or whether he makes a habit of carrying random vegetables - or fruit, if you want to be picky - on his person for use on such opportune occasions.
