Melbourne-based commercial law firm Madgwicks Lawyers has expanded its corporate and commercial team with the addition of a new senior associate, who joins from a consulting firm.
Madgwicks Lawyers have bolstered its corporate and commercial offering with the appointment of new senior associate Ari Morris.
Most recently a principal at consulting firm Lavie & Associates, Morris brings a wealth of experience in estate planning, succession law, and deceased estates litigation. He has extensive experience across estate planning, as well as deceased estates litigation, probate caveats, genealogical searches, and liaising with state treasuries for bona vacantia applications.
Morris has almost a decade of legal experience, including roles in private practice and as a head of legal. He also is the founder and CEO of global genealogy research service, Yiches.

Lauren is a journalist at Lawyers Weekly and graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism from Macleay College. Prior to joining Lawyers Weekly, she worked as a trade journalist for media and travel industry publications and Travel Weekly. Originally born in England, Lauren enjoys trying new bars and restaurants, attending music festivals and travelling. She is also a keen snowboarder and pre-pandemic, spent a season living in a French ski resort.
