Sydney-based law firm Brydens Lawyers has extended its partnership with the Newcastle Knights for the 2025 NRL season, with this extension signifying a 10-year-long collaboration between the two organisations.

The ongoing partnership between the Newcastle Knights reflects the SME law firm’s continued commitment to the Newcastle and Hunter region and its enthusiastic support for sports within this community.

The Newcastle Knights said the partnership with Brydens Lawyers not only exemplifies the firm’s commitment to the club but also reflects its dedication to the “fans and [the] broader community”.

Philip Gardner, the chief executive of nib Newcastle Knights, expressed that he was “exceptionally pleased” regarding the renewed partnership with Brydens Lawyers for the upcoming NRL season.

Gardner said that over the course of their decade-long partnership, Brydens Lawyers has played “a vital role in the club’s success” by providing invaluable support to both the players and the supporters of the club.

“This partnership extension signifies more than just a sponsorship – it represents a shared vision of fostering strong community connections and empowering individuals with the legal support they deserve,” he said.

Lee Hagipantelis, the principal of Brydens Lawyers, shared his pride as the firm marks its 10th consecutive year as a partner of the Newcastle Knights, revealing that it has “strengthened [its] presence in the region”.

He emphasised that this milestone represents “not only our deep commitment to the club but also to the Newcastle and Hunter community”.

“We sincerely thank Philip Gardner and his team for their ongoing support, which makes our decision to continue this partnership an easy one. We look forward to another exciting season ahead and wish the Newcastle Knights every success in 2025,” Hagipantelis said.
