The Melbourne Storm, a leading NRL organisation, has unveiled a new partnership with Broadside Lawyers, a law firm with offices in Melbourne and Sydney, and NEC, a global software and solutions technology business.

Both of these organisations were named co-major partners of the Storm Executive Club last week, further strengthening the club’s position as one of Australia’s leading sporting networking organisations.

As part of this collaboration, the Melbourne Storm revealed that Broadside Lawyers and NEC will align their brands for a promising year ahead, filled with an “exciting schedule of events, business opportunities and networking experiences”.

Wojtek Randla, principal at Broadside Lawyers, shared his enthusiasm for the new collaboration, having firsthand experience of the valuable connections and opportunities fostered by being a member of the Storm Executive Club.

“We’re delighted to establish this new partnership with the Storm Executive Club. Having been part of the Executive Club since it started, I have firsthand experience of the connections it can generate and opportunities it can create.

“We’re looking forward to working closely with the Executive Club over the next 12 months to deliver exceptional events and great networking opportunities,” Randla said.

With its technology deployed in numerous sports stadiums and facilities across Australia and New Zealand, Kylie Smith, vice president of marketing and communications at NEC, highlighted how this partnership underscores the organisation’s commitment to driving progress and fostering growth across multiple industries.

“NEC is proud to partner with the Storm Executive Club. This influential and dynamic network of business leaders and organisations fosters meaningful connections and strategic opportunities, creating pathways for synergies and growth.

“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to innovation, collaboration, and driving greater engagement across industries,” Smith said.

The CEO of the Melbourne Storm, Justin Rodski, also expressed his excitement about these new partnerships, noting the organisation’s longstanding support and shared values.

“We’re excited to welcome Broadside Lawyers and NEC as official co-major partners of the Storm Executive Club.

“Both organisations have been great supporters of the club, and we’re delighted to formalise this agreement, aligning our shared values and objectives to deliver excellent events, networking and business opportunities for all Executive Club members and clients,” Rodski said.
