Melbourne-based boutique firm KHQ Lawyers has appointed Clementina Maione as principal solicitor for its family and relationship law team, with jurisdiction extending across both Adelaide and Melbourne.

The commercial law firm highlighted that Maione brings nearly 20 years of experience across all areas of family law, with a particular specialisation in “complex divorce and property matters, and children’s issues”.

Maione completed a bachelor of law degree at Bond University, then went on to earn a master of laws degree from The College of Law Australia, with a specialisation in dispute resolution and family law.

Before joining KHQ Lawyers, she previously spent 15 years as a lawyer at Maione Lawyers, served as a special counsel at the national law firm Mills Oakley, and as an associate director and later director at the professional services firm BlueRock.

Monica Blizzard, the director and head of the KHQ family and relationship law team, highlighted that her extensive experience practising in Melbourne and Adelaide will enhance the support and expertise available to the firm’s clients.

Having vast experience over many years practising in both Adelaide and Melbourne, Clementina’s appointment brings a significant new resource to our clients.

“Being able to offer her personal and incredibly supportive way of working face to face equally across both jurisdictions will bring great reassurance to anyone navigating a relationship breakdown,” Blizzard said.

Commenting on her appointment, Maione expressed her enthusiasm about joining KHQ Lawyers, highlighting her eagerness to expand her practice in Adelaide and contribute to the firm’s continued growth.

“I am excited that KHQ embraces my vision to further expand into Adelaide, and I look forward to working with this talented team and contributing to the growth of KHQ in both Melbourne and Adelaide,” Maione said.

David Kelly, the KHQ founder and managing director, expressed how Maione’s appointment is part of the firm’s strategic growth plan.

“Clementina’s appointment continues to build on KHQ’s strategic growth through our commitment to employing the best people in their field of law, and providing technically excellent service and genuine care to the people of Adelaide, while also bolstering our fantastic Melbourne based family law team,” Kelly said.
