GC joins Qld firm as special counsel

Queensland-based firm Creevey Horrell Lawyers has appointed an experienced general counsel and barrister as a special counsel for its dispute resolution and litigation operations.

Ben van de Beld (pictured) has joined Creevey Horrell, having come across from Emapta Global, where he served for nearly eight years as a general counsel. He also practised as a barrister for over seven years.

He also serves as a member of the Supporters Advisory Council for Brisbane Roar FC.

Speaking about the hire, Creevey Horrell principal Dan Creevey said: “We are looking forward to Ben’s contribution to Creevey Horrell Lawyers, particularly working with our clients in agribusinesses and rural enterprises and helping them navigate complex and challenging legal matters.”
