Tamsin Lawrence and Ed Austin-Woods (both pictured) are the newest associate directors at Australian Business Lawyers & Advisors.

The appointments, ABLA noted in a statement, double the number of professionals holding this position at the boutique workplace relations and employment law firm, which it said signals the commitment to nurturing future leaders and setting the stage for continued success.

Lawrence is the “driving force” behind the firm’s Melbourne presence, the firm declared, having been with the firm since early 2022.

“Under her leadership, the Melbourne office has tripled in size since its inception,” ABLA said.

Austin-Woods rejoined ABLA in 2021 after a “distinguished tenure” with his own business as a workplace investigator, the firm continued, and his expertise in this field has further enhanced ABLA’s investigations capacity, bringing a wealth of experience to be shared with the team.

Speaking about the promotions, ABLA chief executive Nigel Ward said that “the promotions recognise the significant contributions both have made over the years, and a commitment to the role we see them playing in the growth of the firm over the next decade and more”.
