Ray Mansueto (pictured) has joined WRP Legal & Advisory as a consultant, bringing with him more than 30 years of experience in practice.

He is, the firm said in a statement, a “pre-eminent” insolvency lawyer with a wealth of experience in litigious and transactional work in the insolvency and turnaround space.

For the past 13 years, he has run Mansueto Legal, and prior to this, he was a partner with Piper Alderman and MinterEllison.

The news follows the firm’s naming of two new associates in July, as well as its promotion of four lawyers, including one to director, earlier this year.

Speaking about the hire, WRP director Sam Carragher said: “WRP [is] thrilled to welcome Ray as a consultant.”

“Ray brings vast technical knowledge and practical experience in formulating a strategic plan for his clients’ needs. Our junior staff will derive immense value [from] having Ray onboard.”

“This development is in line with our firm’s growth strategy.”

WRP was founded in 2015 and now employs more than 50 staff.
