Lisa Barca and Karina Penfold (both pictured) have joined Turner Freeman Lawyers as partners in the firm’s growing wills and estates practice.

Both are accredited specialists in wills and estates law and bring – the firm said in a statement – a breadth of experience and knowledge in this area of law.

The pair have come across from Coleman Greig Lawyers with lawyer Francesca Zappia, as well as two support staff and two personal injury law clerks.

Speaking about the move, Barca and Penfold said: “We are excited to continue our pursuit in developing the most specialised wills and estates practice in Greater Sydney. Joining Turner Freeman Lawyers means the firm now houses four of 79 accredited specialists in wills and estates law in NSW.”

“Joining a firm with values that align with our own provides the perfect context for us to continue to provide exceptional legal services to our clients, build a strong team and give back to the greater community.”

Firm partner Richard Dababneh said: “Their expertise in the field aligns with our firms’ values and commitment to providing exceptional legal services to all our clients and across multiple practice areas.”

“We are confident that their contributions will further strengthen our firm’s reputation as a trusted legal partner and market leader.”

Barca joined the firm back in April, while Penfold arrived in June following the completion of her maternity leave.
