Effective today (1 August), Robert James Lawyers and Lawcrest have merged, now operating under the banner of Robert James Lawyers.

Robert James Lawyers was established in 1993 as a specialist commercial law firm by founding partners George Konstas and Robert Alderuccio – and has since continued to grow and diversify its client portfolio. The new combined offering with Lawcrest will create one of the largest pharmacy practices in Australia, according to the firm.

“We are delighted to share that Lawcrest has merged with Robert James Lawyers. By bringing together two specialist commercial law firms, we are able to offer our clients an even greater depth and breadth of legal expertise,” Alderuccio said.

“This is an incredibly exciting chapter for the firm. The addition of Lawcrest’s impressive team of lawyers will set us up for continued growth and innovation for many years to come.”

Full-service commercial law firm Lawcrest was founded by partners Richard Pedley and Sami Sara in 2019 and has a particularly strong focus on technology, commercial real estate and the pharmacy sector.

“We launched Lawcrest with a strong drive to build a modern commercial law firm that prioritises client outcomes and practical legal advice. Five years into that journey, we can confidently say we have achieved those goals,” Sara said.

“The opportunity to fast-track our growth by merging with the well-established and highly respected team at Robert James Lawyers is testament to the strength of those values and the quality team we have built.

“My team and I are excited by what this next stage will bring and the huge potential of what we can deliver as an expanded firm.”
