Pearce IP adds another special counsel
Boutique intellectual property firm Pearce IP has appointed its 16th professional for the year to date, adding “one of Australia’s best patent attorneys” to its ranks.
Rosie Stramandinoli (pictured) has joined Pearce IP, making her the 16th hire for the firm in 2024 to date, following the appointment of a new executive lawyer and head of litigation in New Zealand, as reported in May.
She has, Pearce IP noted in a statement, more than three decades of experience in pharma, biopharma, biotech, food tech, agtech, and medtech sectors, and has extensive expertise in strategic advice, drafting, prosecution, and portfolio management.
Speaking about the hire, Pearce IP founder and chief executive Naomi Pearce said: “Rosie is very well known as one of Australia’s best patent attorneys.
“Due to her significant experience in-house, she brings a rare deep commercial understanding to her role. I am absolutely delighted that Rosie has joined Pearce IP and am looking forward to working with her and introducing her to Pearce IP’s clients.”
Stramandinoli said: “I’m so thrilled to be joining the talented team at Pearce IP and to have the opportunity to work with the firm’s inspiring leader and CEO, Naomi Pearce.
“I’m looking forward to contributing to the continued growth of Pearce IP in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and life sciences industries.”
