Thynne + Macartney, which has been in operation in Queensland for more than 130 years, has promoted three lawyers to more senior roles.

Vicky Martin, in the firm’s wills and estates team, has been named special counsel, and Lewis Radford and Conor Harvey are the firm’s newest associates, working in its planning and environment and disputes and insolvency practices, respectively.

The promotions were effective as of 1 July.

Thynne + Macartney chair of partners Marc Maskell said: “We are extremely proud to celebrate these career achievements.

“These promotions are a reflection of the contributions Vicky, Lewis and Conor have made to Thynne + Macartney and recognise the growth and accomplishments each has achieved throughout their respective career journeys.”

The news follows the firm’s naming of a new general manager in November of last year and its celebration of 130 years in operation in March 2023.
